Limited Edition: Our denim comes in distinct categories (Stretch, Selvedge and Craft), for the same reason that sometimes you want an artisanal sipping whiskey, and others a draft beer. The White Selvedge Denim is part of our Craft offering. This is a limited-edition jean made from imported Japanese denim that comes to us from a boutique mill in the Okayama prefecture where the denim was woven on an old-shuttle loom. And the jean is loaded with quality details including a shank button fly, oxidized rivets, chain-stitched embroidery, a selvedge locker loop inside the back waist and selvedge outseams. So when you turn up the cuff, you’ll see the giveaway ticking on the edge. The only hint of modernity is a 1% lycra component because a hint of stretch can be handy in a warm-weather jean particularly when you might find yourself hopping on a bike for a quick ride to your next event.
