The Fragment Series combines marble with resin to convey the unique beauty of otherwise discarded marble fragments.
Marble fragments are typically abandoned as industrial waste. However, the Seoul-based Fict Studio realized the beauty of these fragments, equal to marble that is artificially machined. By combining raw-edge marble fragments with a translucent resin, the Fragment Series re-examines what we consider waste, producing a remarkable result that is unexpectedly light and ethereal.
The series, which includes stool, chair, and side table, is available in two colors. Given that each piece is made-to-order using raw-edge marble fragments, please expect some variability in the design.
