Giddapahar means Eagle’s Cliff (Gidda = Eagle and Pahar = mountain or cliff) - a natural rock formation that overlooks the tea estate. It was started in 1881 where the combination of low temperatures and favourable slope create perfect conditions for excellent quality teas.
