Named after the 2nd generation manager of Candiani Denim, and inspired by the Italian classic chore coat, this humble work jacket was typically worn by an apprentice.
In celebration of Candiani's 80th Anniversary, and their decade-long commitment to an eco-minded production process, we present a limited series of 7 all-gender styles.
Inspired by traditional Italian workwear uniforms, our intent was to reimagine Candiani's innovative new Re-Gen selvedge denim through our circular and regenerative approach - into a practical, durable and utilitarian wardrobe for today's needs.
Re-Gen fabric is 100% regenerated denim composed of 50% Refibra TM (recycled cellulose fibers) and 50% recycled cotton from Candiani’s own mill. No raw cotton is woven into this denim.
The resulting textile is then dyed using Kitotex R and Indigo Juice R Technologies for an unprecedented reduction of water and chemicals. The results save 30% energy, 50% water and 70% chemicals for every pair of jeans.

The Blue In Green Camo Cargo Pant

In collaboration with Alpha Industries, we've reimagined this selection of their deadstock Shell Fishtail Parkas to reinforce each built-to-last and utilitarian water-resistant piece for use for years to come. Each parka features the addition of a large envelope pocket on the back panel as well as replaced front pocket flaps in dead stock military-issued camouflage fabrics. The black version of the parka utilizes South Korean camo.
