For Kallio, "The bar stool uses woodturning and special veneer techniques in a way that makes the structure sturdy yet surprisingly light. So it blends into a space without taking up too much space. I wanted the bar stool to fit comfortably into any setting, just like the person sitting in it.

Oiva Toikka is one of the greatest names in Finnish design. His iconic collection of Iittala Birds by Toikka first took flight back in 1972 with the creation of his small glass Flycatchers. The collection embodies a rich fusion of glassmaking traditions and would not have been possible without Toikka’s hands-on-approach at the glassworks and his keen understanding of each employee’s skills. Drawing from nature and his passion for art glass, Toikka has created more than four hundred birds in the last forty years.
Today, collecting Toikka birds has become an international activity with collectors tracking down rarities and discussing favorites with the same enthusiasm as their real-life equivalents in the ornithological world. Verner Panton designed the Panton One chair in 1955. Montana relaunched the chair in 2003. Since then, Montana has developed a whole family of Panton One chairs, all based on Verner Panton's ideas and designs. The corded seats of the Panton One kitchen counter stools are hand-woven using polyurethane cord on a core of nylon. The surface texture of the cord may vary. The cord is UV-protected, but may become discoloured after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. The chair is also available in paper string, made of sustainable forest paper, which is biodegradable. The light chair in the stainless steel frame can be used both indoors and outdoors. The chairs with a lacquered frames are for indoor use only.

Hans J. Wegner designed this series in the early 70s with the Danish firm Johannes Hansen, producing a limited number at that time. While there has been no production since then, a few pieces have appeared in auctions during recent years and their rarity and beauty have kept prices high. Carl Hansen & Son was chosen by the Hans J Wegner Studio to relaunch the series on the occasion of Carl Hansen & Son's 100th anniversary in 2008 (hence the series name CH100).

Oku is an interpretation of the Japanese word for oak ‘Ōku’. Oku refers to the essence of the design - oak. "Through experiments with the balance between lightness and heaviness, making it paper thin when seen from one angle and solid from others, we’ve emphasized the material in a simple design".
The Oku table top is produced in oak veneer with round edges, adding a refined detail to the large surface. The legs of turned oak timber sections, is positioned sporadically to create the illusion of a floating table top, while also adding a sculptural detail to the table.
