The Flora modular sofa is inspired by the natural shapes of vegetation and how petals of flowers grow in organic ways. With this concept in mind, the Spanish design studio Yonoh wanted to develop a modular sofa series with the outlines of a petal flower. Designed by compose perfectly while staying organic and soft shaped. The Round Cutting Board has two different sides: a flat side for cutting and a curved side for serving. The small curve highlights the quality in the solid piece of wood and gives the board an extra elegant function. It can stand upright on the countertop, when not in use, and serve as a decorative element.
Section reveals the parts cut away from the center object when a piece of wood goes from raw plank to a refined product. Each working process affects the shape and expression of the material, with the many layers of woodgrains becoming more and more visual. All products in the Section line therefore show very different expressions according to the specific piece of wood. By cutting away parts of the wood, we not only highlight the wood but also give it form and purpose.

Adding a timeless Scandinavian simplicity to this enduring typology with straighter lines and clearer geometry, combined with the Italian aesthetic evident in its indulgent seat, they have created a modular sofa that invites complete relaxation in any setting, in line with the sense of carefree curiosity that its name evokes.
Designed around an array of modules, the Flaneur Sofa reflects the growing demand for modular furniture in increasingly dynamic interior spaces, without compromising on appearance or comfort. The flexibility of the system offers infinite possibilities yet its low profile and rounded form ensure it does not resemble a typical Northern European modular sofa. Simple metal brackets make the constituent elements easy to connect and bespoke combinations enable entirely different solutions to users’ changing needs. Made up of individual squares of larch wood, the Chess Cutting Board resembles its namesake in the board-like pattern of the wood’s exposed grain. Sanded and oiled with a matte finish, the cutting board rests on small wooden legs, giving the impression that the robust cutting board is delicately floating just above the surface.

The ceramic set of seven bowls and plates started as a project ensemble under “A Cabinet of Curiosity”, where seven objects are to be displayed in a glass cabinet that carries emblems of seven animals which relate to the ‘seven sins’, namely pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth. Each ceramic piece is a different size with varying heights and volumes, blurring the typology of bowls and plates to respond to the contemporary lifestyle of full flexibility with distinction. Each vessel shape offers endless functional possibilities, yet any combination of them suggests a rebirth of a personalized table styling. Neri and Hu visited the Arita Ceramic Museum when researching for the project and found that the most beautiful and intriguing of all the ceramics ever produced from this region is a traditional plate from 1616, the year when Arita started producing ceramics for the European market. Neri and Hu applied that particular glaze to a variety of new shapes all based on the simple yet nomadic from the historic artifacts of Arita from the year 1616. These containers inspired by Chinese traditional wine bottles offer two sizes for cold or warm liquids where the cups for drinking can be stacked at the neck of the bottle to form a visually interesting and complete setting. The brass holder offers a graceful detail to the simple white shape.
