Rare Earl Grey

Top grade Japanese green loose leaf tea with toasted brown rice.
This Genmaicha is rather special and unusual, as we use a superior Sencha and combine it with organic Japanese toasted brown rice.
Traditionally Genmaicha was made with old, inferior or lower grade sencha and the toasted rice was used as filler to disguise the inferior quality.  We don't do that.
The sencha is crafted by Moriuchi san - one of the most revered tea-masters in Japan.  His 200 year old tea-garden in Shizuoka is still family run, alongside his wife and daughter.

South African Wild Rooibos

A loose leaf tea designed to restore the body’s natural balance after strenuous athletic activity or illness (whether the result of a hangover or blameless sickness we wont judge, only seek to alleviate).
A blend of green and white loose leaf teas with a sprinkling of restorative herbs.  Together they create a graciously gentle, effective and lovely panacea.
We suggest adding a drop of honey or maple syrup and a grain of sea salt if you are very dehydrated to help restore the electrolytes needed to re-hydrate.

Recovery Tea

Expertly blended by Henrietta as a love letter to the taste of Spring. The flavour truly delights the senses with every sip. Truly extraordinary.
A scintillating combination of rose petals, almond blossom and white silver tip loose leaf tea brings an experience that is somehow greater than the sum of it's parts.
This blend easily makes two or more infusions. The second cup is even more delicious than the first as the leaves and petals have softened, allowing the water to penetrate more deeply.
This blend contains Almond Blossom (the flower of a nut tree) - please do not drink it if you have a nut allergy.

Into a base of our soothing Whole Chamomile Flowers from Croatia we've added Holy Basil (also known as Tulsi) from India, where it is considered a sacred plant by Hindus and used in Ayurvedic medicine to relieve anxiety and tension.  The last element of this relaxing infusion is our gentle Malawi Spearmint to calm the tummy.

This beautiful Himalayan harvest has been selected uniquely to be infused as an iced tea.
A highly floral and fragrant black loose leaf tea from the LaKyrsiew Tea Garden, in the high forested region of Meghalaya, India.  From the foothills of the Himalayas in an area known in the local dialect as “the abode of clouds” this tiny garden produces some of the most rare and unique tea in the world. The finer cut of the leaf, in comparison to our Indian Cloud Black Tea, allows for a rather sublime cold infusion.

Instead of containing just black tea and the essential oil of bergamot that composes a traditional Earl Grey Tea - we’ve built up the lemon notes, not with more citrus but uniquely with delicious lemon herbs.
