Ursa Major jewelry was started by designer Kate Jones in 2009.  Currently based between Maine and New York City, all jewelry is handmade in house with the most careful eye and finest materials, using only recycled metals, reclaimed diamonds, and domestically sourced inlay materials whenever possible. The result is a line flush with pieces destined to be modern heirlooms, both contemporary and timeless.

Matina Hoop No. 1

Glittering crystal quartz gemstones framed by silver pyrite rounds are individually hand wrapped below large 14k gold fill hoops. Each hoop is hand shaped, forged, and polished to a sparkling finish. These earrings are in it for the long haul : the hoops are made from Argentium sterling silver, which is a higher quality tarnish resistant type of sterling silver. As long as they are kept clean these earrings will be as bright and sparkly as the day they arrive. Earrings will arrive in a gift box and with rubber ear backs.

Measurements : Hoops fall approximately 2.5" below the ear.

Cleaning and Care : Clean with a polishing cloth, or by swishing in warm soapy water and buffing with a soft, dry cloth.
