The lantern-like pendant is an application of Rigitulle, a technique and material invented by the French designer himself: a sheet of metal is bent and folded to form an oblong shape. The perforated and pleated metal shade creates an illusion of soft fabric and filters light in a pleasant, festive manner. Satellite has a unique, colourful design that catches the eye immediately. Its name is Matégot’s tribute to the scientific progress in France after the Second World War.

Released in 2005 by Fritz Hansen, the Caravaggio™ was an instant icon. With this piece, designer Cecilie Manz combines a recognizable shape with a modern expression. This simple, timeless pendant consists of a metal shade with soft, feminine lines held by a chrome-plated metal suspension. With most light concentrating downwards, the opening in the top provides depth while highlighting the textile cable above.

Caravaggio™ shade is made of drawn steel with a glossy or matte finish, or opal glass. Glossy White has a Grey textile cord, while Glossy Black has a red textile cord, each measuring 118". Matte finishes have a 236" textile cord in a color matching the shade. The Opal pendant has a 118" silver-grey textile cord. A white canopy is included, with the exception of the Matte Black shade, which has a black canopy. Please note that Glossy and Opal shades are available with a cord that measures 236" at an additional cost. Bulb not included.

Bryce Medium Flush Mount In Pink & White

The iconic three shade system of the PH series of lighting fixtures was created in 1925/1926 by Poul Henningsen for an exhibition in Paris. The designer was determined to produce glare free lighting that was directed where it was needed most while creating soft shadows. The three shade system creates an even distribution of light as each shade reduces the light equally due to their distance from the light source. This is the first lamp to have been created using the scientific model of the logarithmic spiral as a basis for light distribution. There have been approximately one thousand variations of the original lamp with several floor, table, wall, and pendant versions currently available.
The reflective three-shade system of the PH 5 Pendant provides 100% glare-free light, directing the greater part of it downward. By emanating light both downward and laterally, it virtually illuminates itself. A warmer tone of light is created by the inside red cone and the small blue reflector of the classic fixture.
