Sort of like enjoying just the cake frosting all by itself, this sofa from Dutch designer Edward van Vliet is all cushions. Develius from Copenhagen's &Tradition incorporates as many as 16 different modular components including sofa seating sections available with arms or without; chaise sections; a pouf or ottoman; and accompanying scatter pillows. "I wanted the entire experience to be like lounging on cushions,” says the designer. With the base angled inward, Develius seems to hover and float above the floor. The total effect is meltingly luxurious and the components can be arranged in more intimate fashion or in a more open and inviting configuration, be it for residential interiors, high-end hotels, restaurants or VIP settings.

As its tall curved shell seemingly keeps the world at bay, plump seat cushions beckon with the promise of deep comfort. For Italian-born, Swedish-based designer Luca Nichetto, it's a reflection of both countries' style legacies—Mediterranean ease melded with a sense of Nordic rigor. The sofa's foam-covered plywood wraparound and seating cushions are all upholstered in the same matching textile. An overall lightness prevails, with the seating seeming to float on slim steel legs in a black, chrome or bronze finish.

Along with Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier, he is widely regarded as one of the pioneering masters of "modern" architecture. The Faguswerk Alfeld Sofa is one of just a handful of designs from the head of the Bauhaus that is still reproduced on a mass scale. Great attention to detail has been made to maintain size, shape, and even materials used to provide an authentic licensed reproduction by this master.
In 1919, Gropius was appointed the Master the Grand-Ducal Saxon School of Arts and Crafts in Weimar. It was this academy that Gropius transformed into the world-famous Bauhaus, attracting a faculty which included Paul Klee, Johannes Itten, Josef Albers, Herbert Bayer, Lissitsky, Moholy-Nagy, and Wassily Kandinsky. Students collaborated on the use of modern and innovative materials and mass-produced fittings, often originally intended for industrial settings, to create original furniture and buildings.

Futon mattresses are a great way to save space as they roll up into a compact bundle, but are difficult to clean. This brush is designed specifically to make the job easier, with horsehair bristles that gently remove surface dust and a wooden end that can be used like a carpet beater to drive out dirt. The "Y" end of the brush provides a stable base as the piece leans against the wall, while the hole at the other end allows it to be hung on a hook. I love the bold, playful shape! Adds a bit of fun to your routine household cleaning.

Due to the clear construction and timeless design language, this design has been created to transcend generations! The sofa can be converted into a single sofa bed by a simple action, ideal for creating an extra sleeping place. The BR 02 sofa has a round tubular frame, matte chrome or black epoxy coated, and many options for upholstery. Due to the sleek shapes of the design, we recommend a stretchy fabric such as wool, which makes the shape stand out best. The sofa can also be covered with leather. Because leather is not elastic, there is room in the upholstery. Where an elastic fabric returns to its original form, leather can form folds.
