Serge Mouille wanted to create a modern lighting fixture that had delicate lines and a stunning visual presence. The Three-Arm Spider Wall Sconce is one of Serge's most versatile lamps. With arms that reach 16", 34" and 43", light can be projected to many different parts of the room. Further, each shade has independent rotation to allow for further flexibility. Switches for each arm are located on the base of the lamp.
True to Serge Mouille's original production philosophy, each piece is made entirely by hand in France using the original forms, molds and techniques created by Mouille nearly 70 years ago. The unique brass joint allows the head to swivel and turn to any position and hold steady. Each piece is stamped and numbered. Only 600 pieces are produced each year at the Mouille factory and distributed around the world.

As Mouille explored columns in his Post Black Shapes period, he stacked cylindrical shades interspersed around a central lighting element. With a nod to compact spaces, the Type 75 Mini Wall Light offers a diminutive rendition of the iconic Anglepoise shade. Although scaled-down, the Mini powers up to provide the the same fully adjustable illumination as the large original. Alone or perhaps in a pair, the spare lines and fine finishes suit any room and and the light can be installed on a wall or a ceiling. Britain's Sir Kenneth Grange, who refreshed the design for the current day, has called the Type 75 a "minor miracle of balance" and the Mini is but more evidence of Anglepoise's enviable balancing act.

An icon of mid-century modernism, originally designed for Gaudi's La Pedrera building in Barcelona. In 1955, Barba Corsini renovated the loft space within Antonio Gaudi's famed "La Pedrera" building - transforming it from a storage facility into 13 beautifully-designed apartments. To complement the modernist architecture, Corsini custom-designed furniture for the space, including the now iconic Pedrera lamps and table. He leaned on Gaudi's architectural designs for inspiration - the base of the lamp inspired by the building's vaulted ceilings and the lamp shade referencing its chimneys. The lamp is made from powder-coated perforated metal - considered very avant-garde for its time. Today, the lamp is produced in Denmark by Gubi - a Copenhagen-based purveyor of historic and contemporary designs. Certified authentic and produced to the designer's original specifications.
