The 1965 Pendant was originally designed by Paavo Tynell in 1948.

Like many of his best-known designs, the pendant was designed for the Finland House in New York - one of the most ambitious and successful projects of all time to showcase Finnish design. Known for perfecting the techniques of metal finishes, the 1965 Pendant captures Tynell's masterful understanding of brass. Characterized by its triangular perforation pattern - an artistic detail utilised by Tynell in several of his lighting objects - the pendant includes a frosted glass diffuser that softens the light.

A dynamic lighting fixture that features a vivacious tangle of wires, which appear to grow like branches or climbing plants. Fully customizable, the 'Aim Series' can be installed with any number of pendants and ceiling attachment points. Each pendant can also be carefully positioned by threading the wires through the attachment points on the pendants themselves.

The AIM Mulit-Light is availalble in either arrangements of three or five, and in two sizes of pendants. The large is ideal for expansive spaces with high ceilings, and the small is ideal for most apartment-sized installations.

Our ambition was to design a pendant with a simple industrial feel, but which was still elegant and poetic. The Copenhagen Pendant is an exercise in contrasts. Combining the classic and the modern, the maritime and the industrial, it is a new pendant developed by Space Copenhagen for &tradition. Following the success‚ of their first collaboration, the Fly Lounge Series, &tradition have worked with Space Copenhagen again to produce a pendant range in matte lacquered metal, one of Space Copenhagen's first lights to enter production.
The shade is spun into shape from a single piece‚ of metal and matte lacquered. The suspension is made from milled and laser cut steel which undergoes a special plating process to produce the desired matte finish to compliment the shade.

This Finial Collection is defined by a minimal decorative finial at the top of each otherwise minimal and modern shade. Made by traditional artisans in Sarajevo, because it has a metalworking craft tradition going back over four centuries to when it was part of the ottoman empire. Sheets of brass are spun on a lathe and drawn up by hand around custom-made wooden and metal molds to make them perfectly spherical.

When traveling cities such as Paris, Barcelona and New York, NORM Architects Kasper Ronn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen were fascinated by the street lamps; the characteristic cast iron top - looking a bit like a hat - with a semi transparent glass sphere at the base. Back in the studio Kasper and Jonas detached the street lamps from its original use and transferred the shape and combination of materials in order to design an outstanding, indoor pendant - the Mass Light. The pendant is made of lacquered brass or copper and opal glass as the two architects were keen on creating a lamp, which can withstand everyday use. The pendant is also available as a chandelier version to illuminate big areas and fulfill a wide variety of use. The shape of Mass Light is bold, strong and masculine. Yet feminine curves soften the expression. The well-known shape lets you focus on the beauty of its aesthetic structures and warm colors.
