When traveling cities such as Paris, Barcelona and New York, NORM Architects Kasper Ronn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen were fascinated by the street lamps; the characteristic cast iron top - looking a bit like a hat - with a semi transparent glass sphere at the base. Back in the studio Kasper and Jonas detached the street lamps from its original use and transferred the shape and combination of materials in order to design an outstanding, indoor pendant - the Mass Light. The pendant is made of lacquered brass or copper and opal glass as the two architects were keen on creating a lamp, which can withstand everyday use. The pendant is also available as a chandelier version to illuminate big areas and fulfill a wide variety of use. The shape of Mass Light is bold, strong and masculine. Yet feminine curves soften the expression. The well-known shape lets you focus on the beauty of its aesthetic structures and warm colors. Please Note: the bulb is not included.

Blanca Pendant In Various Colors

The Cirque Pendant, designed by Clara Von Zweigbergk for Louis Poulsen, is a play between colors and forms. Inspired by balloons, carousels, colors and light, the pendant design is drawn from the experience of watching colors spin in circular motions, when they are often perceived as continuous lines. The shape is inspired by the well-known onion-shaped domes on several buildings in the Tivoli garden.

The Cirque Pendant crafted from drawn aluminum and is available in three finishes (referring to the top color of the pendant): copper, red or yellow. The fixture provides a downward glare-free soft light by means of the white-lacquered inner reflector. The canopy is white with a 144" white PVC cord. Certified cULus. Bulb is not included.

Designer Peter Bowles used an actual mold from the 1940's that produced these lamps for offices and factories at the time, but then he updated it for a more modern setting. The PH 2/1 Pendant Lamp is a member of the of the PH 3-shade family principles, which were developed in the winter of 1925-26 for a large exhibition hall in Copenhagen, Denmark called "Forum". The PH 2/1 Pendant Lamp provides a primarily upward illumination. It is based on the principle of a reflecting multi-shade system, creating a harmonious and glare free illumination. All handblown opal glass shades are sandblasted on the undersides for uniform light distribution.
