Perfecting the techniques of metal finishes, Tynell developed the 1965 Pendant with his exceptional ability to capture and translate a grace and exuberant lightness into his brass creations. Characterized by its triangular perforation pattern, an artistic detail utilised by Tynell in several of his lighting objects, the 1965 Pendant reflects the distinguished craftsmanship of the Finnish designer. On their the more delicate shades, made from wood strips, a feather duster or an air blower is preferable. In their more solid shades a damp cloth may be used. Clean only the flat surface of the veneer with the cloth avoiding moisture contact along the edge of the veneer. Avoid direct sunlight or strong indirect sunlight on the fixture. Exposure to the sun changes the color of the wood. Please read all their instructions and recommendations on the use and care of the fixtures.

TR Bulb is a clever solution for modern city living, inspired by the way people are increasingly becoming urban nomads, moving between cities and countries to pursue careers and life experiences. The first collaboration between MENU and Tim Rundle, TR Bulb is designed to be taken from apartment to apartment – installed by simply screwing it into the pendant sockets hanging in ceiling, no electrical expertise required.

The dimmable LED bulb, with its elegant, spherical form hides the lamp fitting, while the opal glass diffuser creates an even, harmonious glow, preventing glare. The accessories in the series are likewise driven by the need for portability – so the wall bracket can either be wired in, or hung from a nail like a picture, with a cable plugged into a wall socket.

Designed for longevity, TR Bulb uses LED technology, which, with normal use, last many years. The globe is constructed from white opal glass, and the core structure is made from aluminium to draw heat away from the LED, allowing the bulb to run at its optimum temperature.
