This version from American designer Andrew Neyer's inventive Astro Mobile Light series combines a trio of rotating arms with a downward-facing shade at the lowest level for directed illumination. Planet-like forms in wood and powder-coated steel align with luminous globes in a calibrated balance as the mobile hovers in space. Handmade in the designer's Cincinnati headquarters and offered in a range of drop heights, Astro reads as an enigmatic play on the traditional chandelier.
