With U5, Belgian designer Sylvain Willenz multiplies the effect of French maker Arpel’s distinctive LED pendant. Five dramatic “scallops” of light come from the side-by-side placement of the curved forms, with their light source placed on the outer periphery of the fixture. Emitting a soft warm light, the brightness level is handily adjusted by a remote control.
