A sculpted and exceptionally comfortable chair that is upholstered around a solid beech wood frame. One of Wegner's most celebrated works it is also known under the "Wingchair" moniker. Of particular interest are the back and upholstered arms' unusual shape. Plus, the backrest's characteristic cross seam means that you automatically, and quite naturally, adopt a comfortable position when sitting in the chair. Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1960, the chair looks great with the CH446 Footrest.

Hans J. Wegner is widely considered to be one of the leading figures in 20th century furniture design - and a driving force in the "Danish Modern" movement that changed the way people looked at furniture in the 1950s and 1960s.
