Republic of Fritz Hansen has created a revitalization of the classic Oxford chair designed by the famous Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen back in 1965. The revitalization of the iconic Oxford chair gives the design a new and modern expression ready to fit right into workplace settings as well as your home office. The contemporary edition of the Oxford™ Classic Armchair is upholstered in a new selection of textiles in a variety of colors. The new color palette changes the way we see the chair, as it goes immediately from classic to a more modern expression.

Online ordering includes option of nine standard colors in fabric Rime or in Basic Leather Black with choice of 5-star swivel base with fixed height or a 5-star swivel base with adjustable height* and castors. The chairs with fixed height have a spring function, while the chairs with height adjustment have a tilt mechanism and castors with aluminum caps. For online order the base comes standard in satin polished aluminum. The shells are made of laminated molded sliced veneer with a 3-layered foam cushion and full upholstery with horizontal stitches.
