The Type 75™ Floor Lamp by Anglepoise makes the perfect reading light. It combines all the high quality fittings and features you have come to expect from an Anglepoise, with elegant, classic looks, flowing movement and full adjustability. Type 75™, designed in 2005 by British industrial product designer Sir Kenneth Grange, reinterprets the original 1930s Anglepoise design. Its clean lines combine with the perfect balance and range of movement made possible by the unique spring mechanism that defines the brand.

The lamp shade and stem is crafted from matte painted or brushed aluminum, while the base is cast iron with a steel cover. The shade cap, bridle, spacers and fittings are chrome-plated while the 106.3" power cord is twisted woven fabric. The series features Anglepoise® constant tension spring technology. cUL certified.

Type 75™ Floor Lamp

Poul Henningsen designed the three-shade system used in the PH lighting series during 1925/1926. The first lights using the system were designed for an exhibition in Paris. The 3½/2½ floor lamp is a member of the three-shade family and is one of 19 versions available today. Approximately one thousand different models have been produced over the years and consisted of table, floor and wall lamps, as well as a number of different chandeliers, which were very popular in the 30s for lighting private homes with high ceilings. Henningsen was the first person to pursue a scientific approach to light and use the logarithmic spiral as a basis, which results in an even distribution of light over the entire curve of the shade.

Poul Henningsen's work with Louis Poulsen continued until his death in 1967. Throughout his life, PH sought to create glare-free lighting; aiming to direct light where it was most needed and creating soft shadows while using incandescent bulbs as a light source.

Included in the permanent collection at MoMA, this modern (and often copied) floor lamp was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962. It has been in continuous production since and is among the most iconic designs of the 20th century. Made from a solid Carrera marble base that supports a spun aluminum reflector on an adjustable stainless steel stem. The height extends to almost 7-feet, allowing placement overhead a table or a couch.

Castor takes its name from the French word for "beaver"—and provides an apt cue for Reflector Floor Lamp. With the Toronto-based designers' punk-infused irreverence, gold-foiled leather stretched across a circular frame limns the shape of a beaver pelt. The VL38 Floor Lamp is born of functionalism, but doesn’t sacrifice elegance. The light head is organically shaped, painted and obliquely angled. The light arm, which is made of brass, features a small hinge on top to allow minute adjustment of the light head. The luminaire provides accurate downward light, making it ideal for use as a work light or as more general illumination.

Originally a table lamp, the VL38 Floor Lamp was created for Radiohuset in Copenhagen and designed by Wilhelm Lauritzen. Lauritzen was one of the most prominent architects of the modernist and functionalist movements.
