Fun 7dm Pendant

The iconic three shade system of the PH series of lighting fixtures was created in 1925/1926 by Poul Henningsen for an exhibition in Paris. The designer was determined to produce glare free lighting that was directed where it was needed most while creating soft shadows. The three shade system creates an even distribution of light as each shade reduces the light equally due to their distance from the light source. This is the first lamp to have been created using the scientific model of the logarithmic spiral as a basis for light distribution. There have been approximately one thousand variations of the original lamp with several floor, table, wall, and pendant versions currently available.
The mouth-blown white opal glass shades soften the overall look of the lamp and illuminate its surroundings with a perfect, harmonious and glare-free light that only the classic three-shade system is capable of emitting. The shades are mouth-blown three-layer opal glass, which is glossy on top and sandblasted matte underneath to provide soft and uniform light distribution.

Paxo Pendant - Aluminum

Poul Henningsen designed the three-shade system during 1925/1926. The first lights using the system were designed for an exhibition in Paris. His work with Louis Poulsen continued until his death in 1967. Throughout his life, PH sought to create glare-free lighting; aiming to direct light where it was most needed, and creating soft shadows while using incandescent bulbs as a light source. PH Louvre was designed for the Adventist Church in Skodsborg, Denmark, in 1957. The globe-shaped fixture is made up of 13 shades mounted on four supports. It is a simplification of the Spiral designed by Henningsen in 1942.

Stanley 2 Copper Pendant - Hammered Finish

While experimenting with the reflections and refraction of light, designer Samuel Wilkinson discovered a beautiful quilted effect when the light source was surrounded by patterned glass. This led to his design of the Blown series.
Each pendant's glass is fixed blown into a mold and handcrafted. The suspension system is made from powder coated cast metal and is fitted with a safety wire.
For UL listing, a UL licensed electrician replaces the socket and wiring with UL approved components. An up-charge applies to each lamp that is retrofitted and UL labeled.
