The Tribeca series is a mix of lamps, pendants and chandeliers, all inspired by New York City glamour in the late 1930’s. The name Tribeca refers to a very popular part of New York on lower west Manhattan, the triangle below Canal Street. The various shapes and designs in the Tribeca series were created in an inspiring creative process where Søren Rose Studio traveled the States searching for beautiful old lamps and reusable parts. All the parts were separated, rated and arranged, and then gathered again, mix and match style, until these new and much bolder designs appeared. This feature, in combination with the elegant details and the glamorous feel, makes a Tribeca lamp a retro-chic piece of art.

Free and clear. Anglepoise's Type 75 Wall Mounted Lamp is a minimalist's dream, eliminating desktop clutter or any need for a table surface. Noted British industrial designer Sir Kenneth Grange once called the Type 75 a "minor miracle of balance," so it was serendipity when he was recently tapped to create an update. (His vaunted 50-year career also includes the Kodak Instamatic, England's Intercity 125 high-speed train and the redesigned London taxi.) The wall version of the Type 75 is a self-effacing addition to any space, steadily focusing light exactly where it is desired.

Type 75 Wall Mounted Lamp

The Yuh (pronounced "you") wall lamp was designed in 2017 by GamFratesi for Louis Poulsen. It offers versatility and personality in a simple, elegant wall lamp. Taking up only a little space, the Yuh primarily provides direct glare-free downward directed light. A slim opening in the top of the shade provides soft, ambient upward illumination. The shade pivots, rotates, and slides on the vertical stem to optimize light distribution. A mechanical system provides great freedom of movement, so the light can always be set in the ideal position in the workspace, living room etc. Built-in LED technology provides high quality light with dimming down to 15%.

Shade and wall box are die cast aluminum. Stem is extruded brass. Available in matte wet-painted white or black with matching cord. Timer function for 4 or 8 hours and light switch is located on the wall box. Includes built-in LED. Light source is LED 2700K 10W. Class II.

In the 50+ years since then he has brought his expertise to a variety of projects, ranging from interior planning to architecture to lighting and product design. He has also taught at Columbia University in New York, Cranbrook Academy of Art in Detroit, Washington University in St. Louis and other institutions worldwide. Rizzatto's work has been recognized with many awards, including three Compasso d'Oro prizes in 1981, 1989 and 1994. His 265 Wall Lamp (1973) combines the space-saving design of a sconce with the reach of a floor lamp.
