Jillian Alabaster Table Lamp

The EB 27 Table Lamp designed by Eduard-Wilfred Buquet is just one of several revolutionary lighting pieces designed by this Frenchman.  Designed in 1926 and 1927, Buquet applied for patents for his famous desk lamps and their unique joints in February 1927.  Little else is known about Buquet as the man from the Paris suburb Montrouge was and remains a kind of phantom in the history of design.
Buquet’s design was presented to an audience through publications in French magazines in the late 1930s. It became one of the most popular table lamp designs of the Art Deco period and the 1920s, and it was often integrated in the interior designs conceptualized by architects like Le Corbusier, Marcel Breuer, Joubert and Petit, Maurice Barret, Louis Sognot, and Marcel Coard.

The Gilbert Rohde Table Lamp (1933) is a beautiful expression of the first phase of American Modernism. Designed by the American Gilbert Rohde in 1929, this exquisite table lamp was created to appeal to the masses of America. The design lives on through handcrafted workmanship providing a detailed modern classic reproduction of this important design piece.
Gilbert Rohde was one of the most important American industrial designers of the 20th century. Early in his career, he was an advisor to Herman Miller on the subject of modern design. During his career, he experimented with many material elements and created many new lines of modular furniture. One of his most famous designs includes a plexiglass chair exhibited at New York's 1939 World's Fair.

1950's Table Lamp

This Art Deco Table Lamp was created in 1930 and found at a flea market in Paris. We sadly haven’t been able to determine the designer. The opal glass ball rests on a chrome-plated bowl, which is supported by three brass or chrome balls.
These act as the base and locking device for the glass ball, which is screwed into place through them. The transition between chrome, brass and glass contrasts with the consistency of the spherical shape to create an attractive appearance.

Gropius Lamps is a Madrid-based lighting studio and workshop created in 1996 by Industrial Designer Sofía Iribarren and Interior Designer Jaime Colomer to fill the lack of customization in the lamps market.
We discovered Gropius Lamps on Instagram and immediately fell in love! Their fun and colorful Popcorn and Candy lamps are the perfect pop in any room. And their Iconic table and floor lamps are so chic and sophisticated. We believe lamps are the salt and pepper of every room design. Layered light is so important. Yes, overhead lighting is a must in a lot of rooms but it's lamp light that is the real star in a room. Lamp light creates the warmth and pretty lamps, well, then you've nailed it.
