Rime Pendant Lamp

The VL Ring Crown family derives from a lamp designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Danish Broadcasting House in Copenhagen in the 1940s. The wall lamp and pendant versions, with the characteristic organic form, were put to good use at the Danish Broadcasting House. For this project Vilhelm Lauritzen also created the VL38 and VL45 lamps. The original VL Ring Crown never appeared there, but not long after, a Ring Crown based on the original drawings was launched. In 1947, the designer Finn Juhl, who worked for Vilhelm Lauritzen, used the VL Ring Crown as part of the interior design for the Danish porcelain manufacturer Bing & Grøndahl in Copenhagen. True to its original materials and design, the VL Ring Crown was reintroduced in 2019. It’s made of untreated, polished brass and with three, five or seven shades in glossy white, triple-layered, handblown opal glass. It was complemented by the wall lamps and pendant originally installed in the Danish Broadcasting House. The VL Ring Crown family brings a distinct and authentic touch to stylish interiors as well as a warm light to softly illuminate contemporary living.

Beaverhausen’s designer couple Mimy A. Diar and Ad Luijten got the idea for their pendant when looking for a fixture that wouldn't obscure the view from their kitchen. Named after the French word for light—"lumière”—LU contrasts a thin curved shade with a thicker vertical element that visually connects with the lines of plants and trees outside their window. Rousseau 1 Light Pendant-clear Glass

Description

Marset’s adapts Tam Tam’s linear style in a smaller 4-light model for more compact spaces where an elongated fixture is still desired. Berlin-based designer Fabien Dumas’ multicolor composition of lacquered aluminum shades come attached to a hanging pole and each one can be positioned to face downward, sideways or upward to reflect off the ceiling. And an opalescent methacrylate diffuser covers the open end of each shade to soften the overall illumination.

Brass Double Bubble Pendant Light Fixture 5 Inch

The Multi-Lite Pendant embraces the golden era of Danish design with its characteristic shape of two opposing outside, mobile shades that enable creating a personal installation and a wide range of lighting values in a room. By individually rotating the shades, the Multi-Lite Pendant can be transformed into multiple combinations where the light can be directed upwards, downwards or exude an asymmetrical art light. The Multi-Lite was first drawn in 1972 when Louis Weisdorf did an exception to his own design custom of using multiple repeating elements. Instead it reflects his passion for diversity. Two cylindrical shapes lay the foundation of the lamp and a metal ring encompasses it and anchors the two quarter-spherical shades, which ultimately completes a picture of an iconic design with multiple purposes. The Multi-Lite Pendant has a timeless expression that fits into any domestic setting. The all chrome and black versions come with a black textile cord.
